If not self-nominated, individuals nominated for a position will be contacted by a chapter officer and asked if they are interested in accepting the nomination.

Elections Process

As outlined in Article 4, Section 2, Qualifications, Election, and Term of Office of the Chapter Bylaws, nominees for the Board of Directors are to be elected considering the following provisions: “Any person on the National Board of Directors may serve as an officer of a Chapter. Officers shall be elected by the Chapter members from the floor at the meeting before the annual meeting. Election for officers shall take place in conjunction with the Chapter’s annual meeting. Each officer shall hold office for one year until he or she resigns or is removed or is otherwise disqualified to serve, or until his or her successor shall be elected.”

Due to the geographic size of the chapter and possible traveling limitations of members, the election will be by electronic voting.

Chapter members will be contacted via email with a link to cast their vote.  Each individual may only vote once.
